I know I had heard this argument many times as an argument against abortion rights, and I thought others who may have heard this may be interested in this study...

"The researchers therefore examined the role of abortion on breast cancer risk among 267,361 women enrolled in the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition between 1992 and 2000. The data came from 20 centers across nine countries....

“...Overall, the findings provide further unbiased evidence of the lack of an adverse effect of induced abortion on breast cancer risk,” the team concludes (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15304118/from/RS.2/)."

You know, if outlawing abortion based on its connection to increased breast cancer risk is their argument, they ought to be pushing for outlawing bottlefeeding, since breastfeeding is actually proven to decrease risk of breast and uterine cancer. Men should not be allowed in this discussion at all. It's none of their damn business.

Well, I think abortion is not okay for any reason, but come on. Trying to convince people that they will lower their chances for breast cancer if they carry the unwanted child is never going to work to get them to not have the abortion!
