Is it normal procedure here for mods to lock threads , barring forum members from posting in it, and then to continue to go back in themselves and add their own little barbs and attacks to a locked thread?

Just wondering?

As AYFR in typical form threw out a insult and then the thread got locked . Don't know which mod locked it but somebody did.

Some time later after the thread was locked MW came in and posted another barb in a locked thread.

Point of debate here folks. I would call it bad sportsmanship at the very least to have mods throwing about insults , locking threads and then unlocking them to throw out another insult when the rest of the forum members are not allowed to respond .

That is poor policy in my view. But then again that is just my opinion for what its worth.

Fairness and objectivity obviously mean little to some , unless its they who are being treated unfairly and then man listen to them whine.

FYI To clarify obviously I am not speaking of all mods. Patriotsblade and Saguaro are more than fair. Come to think of it I can't say Indigo hasn't been more than fair either.

What you fail to realize is that this is a privately owned forum which basically gives the Admin as well as the mods have the right to do basically what they want to any thread in the forum.
Yes I do know what I am talking about because over the past 5 years I have been both Admin or moderator of several forums. If in doubt of the rules review the TOS that you sign before you sign up for the forum.

Mods ganging up on forum members is a interesting way to grow a forum. Personally coming from a buisness background as I do I just don't think that will work. But hey that's just me.
