Pardon my skepticism but I have to agree with Lindsey's father here. I think she's fallen into that Ann Heche 'I think I'll try being a Lesbian for a While' phase.

Frankly, I don't care a whit about Lindsey Lohen or who she sleeps with - nor do I care if she's a real lesbian or one of those temporary lesbian chic types. As for her happiness, that's for her to find - if this is it, great - stay out of the tabloids and jail and be happy.

It's part of working in the public medium, keep as many fans happy as possible because you may be jeopardizing future work opportunities. How long did Ellen languish as an afterthought until she got her talk show? How many endorsements did Martina lose? How many other artists, athletes, and performers make the same choices. What bothers me is that with the big deal made over the Dinah Shore weekend, on the L word and othe places, there aren't any out golfers in the LPGA that I know of.
