A 'big press conference' on Wright

Obama was asked about Rev. Jeremiah Wright just now by a woman in Winston-Salem who tells the audience to watch his PBS interview, which will quell their concerns.

"I’m going to be having a big press conference afterward to talk about this," he responded, then referred back to a story the woman told about a mother having to borrow month to get to work.

"This is diverting attention from the first story that you told," Obama said.

The DNC does not have to bring up mccain's extreme age because the American voters are already focusing on it. It was the conseravtives who accused mclame of being a democrat and not the Democrats. Once the nomination is settled, a deal will be cut to seat both the Florida and Michigan delegations. You know that they have video of her agreeing to not to campaign in Florida or Michigan and agreeing that the results of such primaries would not count. Florida and Michigan violated DNC rules and that is why the primaries simply do not count. The only reason that this has not been done is that it is clear that the Florida and Michigan delegations will be seated after it is determined who will be the nominee.

I don't like agreeing with you on this, but I have to. I am not going to accept not counting those votes. I am not a Democrat for a reason. Because they keep doing such stupid things. I can think of some therapies:

The next time you meet a black man or woman....try as hard as you can to think of the person first as a fellow human being. Imagine that he or she has many of the same needs, concerns and desires as you...and that the blood that runs in his or her veins is the same color (and possibly the same type ) as your own.

The next time you feel the urge to say something like "I have friends that are black" or " I even dated a black person"...stop...and consider that there are very few black people who have not heard these phrases hundreds of times already...they have no meaning.

Ask yourself the following questions:

Is it possible...or even probable..that there are thousands or even hundreds of thousands of black American citizens that are as intelligent as me? That are as responsible as me? That work as hard as me? That are as honest as me? That are just as important as me?

Are there thousands or even hundreds of thousands or even millions of black Americans that have fought for this country...helped build this country...helped elevate this country?

Get over it folks....Barack Obama is going to make a great POTUS.

I don't like agreeing with you on this, but I have to. I do not mind you disagreeing. Please understand that the Obama campaign has not played nasty here so as to keep the party unified but there is good video of Senator Clinton agreeing that she would not participate in these primaries and that the results of these primaries would not count for any reason. Those were the rules she agreed to until she got behind in delegates and decided that her prior promise could be ignored. The DNC rules are clear here.

Once things clear and we know who the nominee is, there will be a deal reached to seat the Florida and Michigan delegations at the convention in August. This contest is going to be over one way or another in June and there will be no brokered convention. One major Clinton superdelegates jumped ship today and there are rumors that the rest of the super delegates are ready to jump in and end this fight before the end of June. That is actually what the super-delegqates are supposed to do and these super delegates will not allow this go on pass June. In addition a large number of Clinton large fundraisers are making contributions to the Obama campaign and money does carry some weight in the party.

When this happens, a deal will be cut on Michigan and Florida and these states will have delegates to the DNC in Denver.
