Uhhmmm...I don't want to appear ignorant, but I'm not sure what an OP is. An opinion? I might want to post one in an unmoderated thread just because I can, but I need to know what the h*ll it is. :D

Yes, we discuss the news, but the OP in the US and foreign sections is a news item that kicks the discussion off. If we don't have a separate section for opinion pieces, then US and world news sections are going to be full of pieces that contain no news and all lies.

Why is this such an issue? Like Tarot said, they could put in it one big pile and let us figure it out.

OPs produce the insults,they are moved to unmoderated and then people get angry because they are moved.

I have talked and talked about no insults, and it just hasn't gotten through .

No, because we have unmoderated areas where those insults can take place, within the limits of the TOS. To try to stop all the abrasive language is harder than to try to manage where it takes place, and is more intrusive into people's posts.

The real issue and your point is if the news suits you and plays to your position it is granted its right to be placed in the current news section but if it is as explosive as Barak being tied to a radical Marxist cult then it must be hushed up. God forbid it should be discussed intelligently. :)

Someone invited me to take a look at a Forum called AWE for short, as I remember people here mentioning it once in awhile. Well they have ONE rule on there and that is your banned for death threats!!

They have about 20 different categories and the Political ones are Free for Alls, with a lot of NASTY Libs and a couple of real American Haters! There is a guy called Fed Up American who needs his ass kicked up to his eyebrows, but the rest are just frustrated Americans! I noticed a couple of Blacks on there that were HATERS also, so its sure not a BLAME WHITEY for everything Forum!!

Funny thing is they are Rated #5 in the Nation, but I wouldn't join as I don't have enough time to do this one justice!!

To much Protocol, to many RULES unequally enforced, can bring a lot of problems around and don't lose track of the FACT that Liberals can be damned Radical as well as any GOP'r, maybe worse??:mw:mw
