The War in Iraq, Abramoff, Foley, Hastert, Ney- and now the book Tempting faith, by David Kuo. The book apparently tells of how Bush and Co. publically pandered to evangelical Christians while ridiculing them in private. He also hasn't come close to delivering on his promises to them.

Fox's Brit Hume even said this morning that he expects Democrats to win the House in November.

It sure won't help them. I am too jaded to get too optimistic, but for a Dem, things are looking good.

I find that many conservatives are blind to how Bush is screwing them over. I think it hurts the conservatives when it comes to people like me, independent Christian voters.

I know that in the last election, a few churches preached that people should vote Republican from the pulpit. I wonder if they are doing that this time.

I'm sure my mom's church is. I don't like it when preachers preach politics. It makes me uptight.
