Not everyone thinks of that and sometimes you'll think "oops, I forgot to add...." after the post button has been struck.

There's another thread on this forum about the edit and this is one of the rare forums that doesn't allow members to edit their posts. Many board allow from 3 to 15 minutes to fix it before the edit button goes away. Any longer risk of threads being thrown out of whack, especially in heavy debate.
