What happened to REAL Republicans, you know one that were really conservative and not just phonies. I am so sick and tired of all the Liberal Republicans. Ie Bush, Gulliani, McCain, Cheney, and a whole mess of others. What ever happened to the Reagan Conservatives. These watered-down Conservatives just make me sick. What is really said it that most of the Democrats that won in November of 2006 were more conservative than the Republicans that they replaced.
It is really bad when Democrats including Lieberman and others are more conservative that Republicans who are supposed to be Conservative:think :headshake :no :soapbox

But I don't agree with everything you post so I have no clue what I am. I'm claiming Libertarianism for now.

But you have a point - the current pseudo conservative religious right pandering bunch of dunderheads aren't conservative at all. At least not fiscally. Bush and Co have spent more than any modern president.

If you find out the answer to that question I'd love to know it! I don't like the new crop of "republicans" either... that's why I changed my voter registration a few years back. :kickcan

I can only call myself a conservative if it has Goldwater in front of it: "Goldwater conservative" works for me, because he was actually a hawkish libertarian.

But I'd surely settle for a good Reagan conservative if we could find one: Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN) has a lot of potential.
