Seem that everyone agrees that America needs to become energy independent and head toward alternative soources for energy.
One question is how
Drilling in ANWR is out (as well as drilling off-shore and an other place that there is oil in the US) hurts the enviroment too much.
Nuclear power is out, the waste is too dangerous and what if it explodes.
Wind power then? Will never be able to keep up with the demand PLUS it kill birds
Ok how about using the ocean's currents, oh wait that might disturb the fragile ecosystem there.
Solar power, not cost efficient enough.
These are arguements that I have heard against each one of the items listed.
What else is there?
