February 21, 2008 (WLS) -- There is a new development in the case of missing Bolingbrook mother Stacey Peterson. The final report has just been released on the autopsy performed on the remains of drew Peterson's second wife, Kathleen Savio.
A forensic pathologist concludes that the cause of her death was drowning -- and the manner of death was homicide.
Savio was found dead in a bathtub in March, 2004.
A coroner's jury ruled the death was accidental.
But her body was exhumed in November after her husband's third wife Stacey Peterson disappeared.
Authorities have called Drew Peterson a suspect in the disappearance but he has not been charged with a crime.
