Animated Graphics Interfere with Communications

Moderator's Animated Graphics Interfere with Communications to TPA on my machine.

TPA seems to have more than it's share of problems without anything fancy going on. Add a video running in a couple places and I guess I'll have to buy a new machine and/or video card.

Of course, I have streaming financial data and other websites open which may not be unusual for other users too.

Would it be possible to reduce the BW used for these extra thingy's.

It appeared that every instance of your avatar was like running a separate movie. If I was scrolling past a few of your messages, it would just about stop my machine. I presume it was downloading a copy of the video for each instance and running them independently.??

Actually, I seem to have some minor trouble with the TPA site anyway, but this was worse.

I have had no problem since you changed your avatar.

I would certainly look into upgrading your graphics card, or check for new drivers for it.

I apologize for that then. I change my AV's frequently and if it happens again PM me and I will change it.
