Clearly Republicans don't care about their civil liberties and the Democrats just don't have any balls.

68 Senators approve increased spying on Americans.

Bush is pleased.

The time is right for a violent revolution! That is what they said in the 60's but I think is more appropriate now.

It still has to get through the House. The original House Bill did not provide for Telecom immunity. bush is still promising a veto is there is no provision for immunity of the telecom companies for spying on US citizens.

I said on that psycho-board that I'm an old man and; therefore, if I have to go out in an honorable fight, it will be as good as most other ways:zen:rooster

Good to see that my Senator, a Presidential contender, decided not to vote. He wouldn't want any record for people to call him on now would he?

It's a shame more didn't vote for this. Only 68......
