(CNN) – Hillary Clinton is taking aim at Barack Obama in a new Wisconsin television ad for not agreeing to participate in a debate there.

"Both Democratic candidates have been invited to a televised Wisconsin debate," an announcer says in the new 30 second spot. "Hillary Clinton has said yes. Barack Obama hasn't. Maybe he'd prefer to give speeches than have to answer questions."

"Like why Hillary Clinton has the only health care plan that covers every American, and the only economic plan that freezes foreclosures," the announcer continues. "Wisconsin deserves to hear both candidates debate the issues that matter. And that's…not debatable."

The ad is Clinton's latest attempt to put Obama on the defensive over his refusal to debate the New York senator more than twice between Super Tuesday and the crucial March 4 primaries in Ohio and Texas. Clinton, who has been widely praised for her debate performances this campaign season, had proposed one debate a week after Super Tuesday.

The Obama campaign later agreed to two debates — one in Ohio at the end of the month, and a CNN/Univision debate in Austin, Texas next week.

The ad is also a sign the Clinton campaign is still aiming for a strong showing in Wisconsin next Tuesday, despite the fact it is devoting much of its resources to the Ohio and Texas primaries a week later.

Responding to the ad, Obama campaign manager David Axelrod said, "We've debated 18 times, were gonna debate two more, but we've got other business to do here in terms of meeting voters face to face."

Bad move on her part. People will only respond negatively to this, but I guess she's desperate at this point.

There will be a deate in Ohio and evidently one in Austin before the March 4 primaries. It appears that the proposed debate in Houston is not going to occur. I would love to have gone to the debate in person.

Senator Clinton is behind and is trying to make up ground. Debates are a good way to do this but it does not appear that Senator Obama is really dodging her given the number of debates scheduled.

He's in no way dodging her. She wanted 4 debates in a 3 week period and he agreed to 2. Reasonable by any standard I would think.

Is that any worse than him pointing out that the Dems lost control of the Senate and House while Clinton was president, even though that is what traditionally happens?

What has pissed off a lot of older women is the double standard being applied here. He disses her. That's smart. She disses him, she's a bitch. Oh well.

Me neither, and if he did say it he was talking about Bill Clinton and not Hillary. We all witnessed Bill go after Barack, so I'd say they're pretty even.

For me, it's American politics. But the mudslinging I think is something most Americans are tired of...seen plenty of it from the Bush camp.

Oh well.Hard for you to accept what Hillary really is, as the Dems dressed her up as the Female Victim, the smart savvy Politician, and then we watched as her TRUE phony character came to life, and most of us knew she was still the criminal, LIAR and I still think she was involved deeply with Fosters murder! Why don't you fawn over Condelleza Rice or Liz Dole, as they are trouble free, solid good Americans, who put Hillary to shame! There is a Dem Gov in Conn, who appears solid, prop her up for 2012!!

I got bad news, Ringo, your party is done. His name isn't Bush, his new name is "Mush" . Everthing he touches turns to mush. Give him a prospering economy, it turns to mush. Give him the GOP, it turns to mush. Give him the winning numbers to the lottery and this jerk-off will find a way to lose. By the way, Good Morning, Nixon.
