The GOP must love these numbers.

Total # of Republican votes cast-----1,920,169

Total # of Democratic votes cast-----1,683,970

Considering that this is a very "red" state and the Democratic candidates did not even campaign here, that number is, I think, very significant. Bad news for the GOP.

I am surprised the "liberal media" has not flashed that number all over the place.

By the way, over 22,000 dumbasses voted for Fred Thompson.

Yep. Nearly 300,000 more Democrats came out and voted than Republicans and the Dems votes didn't even count for anything. Think what's going to happen in November when they do count.

I think he meant only-or he read the numbers wrong-either way, I like the message-Dems are more committed at this point than the other side.

I was wondering who would leap on PB for that. Wish we were all so perfect.

There were no delegates up for the Democrats and no advertisement. This is still a decent turnout for an election that did not mean anything for the Democrats.

I listened to Donna Brazille on CNN. She is apparently a member of the DNC? She said that when the convention starts, the state will ask to have their votes counted and the DNC will agree. I think the people in Florida are counting on it.

That would explain why the Obama supporters were so pissed off about Clinton winning. They said that if Obama had campaigned there, he would have won because he is good at swaying people. Left to nothing but the qualifications of the canidates, the Floridians voted for Clinton.

You're forgetting something - it's a primary not the general election. I guarandamntee there was a butt load of cross over voting by party die-hards to influence the other party's outcome. It's happened in every state so far and it'll be rampant here on Tuesday - sad but true.

This primary season is a joke!

Do you think several hundred thousand Floridians changed party affiliation in order to influence the opposing party's outcome? That is not likely.

Has it occurred to you that a huge block of Florida votes are absentee and they may have voted before Fred dropped out? I still may vote for him..just to protest McCain!

Yeah, that occurred to me. They were dumbasses regardless of when they voted.

Why would you throw your vote away on Thompson?

You're not making a statement, you're simply throwing your party under the bu...
