Ok, I requested a food section here at TPA and I got the Greasy Tentacle. I know, It doesnt sound very appetizing but we'll just have to work with it and since Oceanbreeze is the transfats police she'll be making sure that none slip into this forum.

Thanks for the food forum guys :theman

How much trans fat does fresh fillet of unborn octopus tentacles have? Good eats if you can find 'em!

We were coming back in from parasailing on Oahu and our boat stopped to pick up a fisherman snorkeling/fishing. They obviously knew him so they picked him and he an octupus on his spear. I'll try to post a picture later. :thumbsup

I've been posting in the wrong forum all night!

I was posting about food in the family room thinking that i was here in the greasy tentacle.

Ok, I'm going to take out the garbage and get the seltzer out of my trunk so that the cans dont explode. Its going to be in the low 20's tonight.

I think you could cook him down with some seasonin' and water, mix in some feta, wrap him in some Philo then serve him as a Greek dish.

You haven't lived until you've eaten "takoyaki", otherwise known as octopus balls.

I have lived long enough to know I would gag

It is REALLY good stuff. Nothing like a six pack of takoyaki and a couple of hot sake's on a cold January night.

Japanese lesson for all who care......the word is sake, not saki. The final syllable is pronounced as it would be in the word keg.

I did not post anything YET

As for what LL said that is correct.

Also rocky mountain oysters are great as well.

See some people just dismiss certain things without even trying them, that takes all the fun out of it.
