I can personally say this is hogwash.
My difficult baby didn't nor does now have nightmares.
My calm baby did and still does have nightmares. She thinks too much. :lmao

In your experience it's hogwash, but the study was done on almost 1000 children and they came to that conclusion. As with any study...they probably need to do another one..which in turn will show the opposite. LOL

A previous study with identical and non-identical twins suggested that people may inherit a certain vulnerability to having nightmares, Dr. Tore Nielsen, one of the researchers on the new study, told Reuters Health
My sister had night terrors as a child and her three children all experienced night terrors between the ages of two and five.
It's an extremely unsettling sight to behold. :(
