WTF?? My kids don't get the flu shots, nor will they. I gew up without flu shots. This is moronic. I would use the exemption to policy. TOTAL BULL$HIT. :ydt

I read that 100 kids die each year from the flu. That is intolerable. But

Did those children have a condition, illness, etc. that made them vunerable? Did they die from the virus that people were vacinated against that year?

I am afraid that if we keep vacinating everyone for the flu, we are going to end up with something far worse than the flu. Like the resisant bacteria. Maybe we should let children develop immunities naturally?

I agree.

Unfortunately, I got my kids the chicken pox vaccination. I regret it now. They will not get a flu vaccination.

I agree that society has became fanatics about germs and children may be suffering from the too clean era.
Most of the cleaners these days have bleach in them which causes breathing problems for many children.

On the other hand, typhoid fever has been wiped out in my lifetime, thanks to compulsury vaccinations And there are other killers that we never hear of anymore.

I am very concerned about giving infants so many vaccinations at one time.

BTW, this is an all purpose identity for some who are from home and can't recall their password.

So, why did you get your kids innoculated with the flu shot? I remember reading it on some recall flu shot thread.

Tamiflu is not a vaccination, it was prescribed after my children already had the flu and we could not fight it other ways.

Call me old fashioned, but it still pumping your body full of toxins that your body could eliminate naturally.

We tried to eliminate it naturally but when you child temp is 103 you then do what you have to.

Been there, done that, with the kids,highest it ever got was 104.5, ear infection. Which they NOW admit that they over medicated kids.

Imagine back...how did we fight the flu prior to the flu shot and Tamiflu?

Flu shots and Tamiflu serves a purpose for those with weakened immuned systems, but not for the general public. Now, we are justing lining the pockets of the doctors, the company, and the tv ads. Pathetic cycle. Putting those pharmacy ads on TV was the worst thing for patients, everyone thinks they are a doctor and want the newest drug. :toetap
