CNN has posted the text of the resolution passed 15-0 condemning N. Korea and imposing sanctions on Saturday. You can read it here (http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapcf/10/14/sanctions.text.reut/index.html?section=cnn_latest). North Korea walked out after rejecting the resolution (video link (http://www.cnn.com/video/partners/clickability/index.html?url=/video/world/2006/10/14/sot.nkorea.amb.reject.untv)).

Do you feel the UN is relevant at this point, in a way that this matters to the future of North Korean nuclear capabilities? What WOULD help this situation? And this begs the more broad question - how can the world handle the existing nuclear powers and those that aspire to be nuclear in a more effective way?
