I read this and thought it interesting.

What would have happened if the question had been, "how do we beat the spic, or how do we beat the coon?" Would McCain have laughed? Would you have?

Many people don't like Clinton, including me. BUT......I don't like Rice or Pelosi or Albright or Reno either. Women who succeed in the boys club are seen as hostile, abrasive, cold, maniputlative, pushy, and unlikable.

I think many people in this country need to examine the reason why Cheney is acceptable, Bush is ok, but Clinton is a bitch.

What's more funny is that they won't be able to beat her. :roar

McCain sold his soul in 2004 to the bushies when he agreed to support bush and not denounce the lies by the swiftboat liars. It is sad to see his campaign fall apart so badly but he is making a mini-comeback. Right now, McCain is ahead of rudy in Iowa according to one set of polls.

I lost all respect for McCain after the 2004 race. The treatment of the bitch line was typical of the asshole that McCain has become.

I have to agree with that. When I watch him on tv, I'm a little embarassed for him. I think he has become obsessed with the presidency. It goes back to my thing that if I have to do something immoral to win, I've lost the only battle that mattered. And McCain has lost.

I got the feeling that McCain knows he's lost and is simply trying to make some of his points stick. He may go for a VP post.

I agree with YDT is right though, McCain sold out to the base. He looked to be trying to vie for the middle, then panic set in and now he has the loyalty of 30% of the country with the rest of us going, nah!

Because she just IS! It sure isn't rocket science!

I wouldn't be too cock sure about that....looks like Obama Rama is ahead in Iowa....I think Rove left to spend full time working against her!

How do we beat the Bitch? You don't!

She has lots of skeletons...she CAN be beat! One good tidbit is all that's needed.:wink

Believe me, Rove and company are working diligently...
Polls say she is more questionable about character...

Believe me, Rove and company are working diligently...
Polls say she is more questionable about character...Wabby, you are so funny and so poorly informed that it is funny. Did you know that Rove is telling the gop candidates to run away from bush? Rove knows that bush is going to be a major negative for any GOP candidate. http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Karl_Rove_to_Republican_candidates_Distance_1120.h tmlFormer chief Bush political strategist Karl Rove is telling GOP Oval Office seekers in 2008 to keep a safe distance from the man he helped to twice elect, according to MSNBC host Dan Abrams' interpretation of a recent opinion column penned by Rove.

"It sounds to me like Karl Rove is giving the Republican candidates advice that says 'get away from my guy,'" Abrams said of Rove's Saturday column in Newsweek, in which the the former adviser warned that President Bush's lagging poll numbers would do no favors for GOP presidential hopefuls in 2008. "Am I the only one who's reading Karl Rove and saying 'holy cow?'" the host asked later.

In the column, entitled "How to Beat Hillary (Next) November," Rove laid out a loose general election strategy to combat frontrunning Democratic presidential contender Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY).

"So show them who you are in a way that gives the American people hope, optimism and insight," he wrote to would-be Republican nominees. "That's the best antidote to the low approval rates of the Republican president Those numbers will not help the GOP candidate, just as the even lower approval ratings of the Congress will not help the Democratic standard-bearer."

Abrams said that the advice was a telling indicator about the state of the Republican Party.

"When you've got Karl Rove advising...the Republican candidates to effectively distance themselves from President Bush," remarked the host, "I think that tells you how much trouble President Bush, and possibly the Republicans, are in."

There is no way the Republicans can win. Except....... The Democrats could lose a basketball game in the last five seconds if they were 30 points ahead. Just hope they are forty points ahead and the buzzer goes off in time.

Can the New England Patriots be beat? Of course they can. But it's hard to find the team to do it, everything has to fall into just the right place.

Same can be said for Hillary. Anything is possible, of course she CAN be beat...but by whom? Rove isn't running.

Rudy's pro-abortion and pro-gay rights and even I know to run the pictures of him in drag in front of a gay rights sign in front of the Christians in the South :madlaugh

Thompson has less experience then Obama. He can't even hold his own in the Republican debates, yet alone when the partisan gloves come off.

Huckabee will be crucified on taxes and immigration, BY HIS OWN PARTY!!!!

Nah, there is no candidate strong enough to beat her. Every poll has Hillary beating the Republicans, whomever is the candidate.

Hence the Bitch can't be beat...I hope they play "The Bitch is Back" at her POTUS balls.:sparks

This is purely a sexist comment.
It's sad that men feel threatened so easily.
I do like Hillary, Reno and Pelosi.
I think Rice is a very intelligent woman who is allowing herself to be used by the administration.
Maybe she will be smart enough to write a book in a few years telling the truth like Colin Powell et al.

How she can be beat is if Bush endorses her.

Bush made no explicit election predictions, according to some in the room, but clearly thought Clinton would win the Democratic nomination and talked in a way that seemed to suggest he expects her to succeed him - and will continue his Iraq policy if she does.

In my original post, only the last sentence was mine. I like Pelosi too. I lost all respect for Albright when she coined the phrase,"collateral damage" for dead children. And Rice, I think she is just another neo-con who has got hers and doesn't give a damn about anyone else. And I have mixed feelings about Clinton as a person. Her politics are too neo-con for me.

John McCain is the kind of man you should bow down to and thank for his service to America. I doubt you could come close to being the kind of man, who literally went through living hell as a POW! I fully agree with the lady taht asked him that question, as I have no respect for that lying bitch either, nor does a good portion of America.

It is possible to appreciate a persons service and sacrifice while at the same time recognizing that he has become a liar and would make a terrible POTUS.

I don't care for McCain's wishy washy politics, but I sure do respect his service to this country and all he had to endure!
