Do other people feel a profound sense of irritation when stars [Donnie and Marie, Faith Hill, Tom Cruise] come on and talk in excruciating detail about their lives? What's strange is that I love biographies, and I will read magazine interviews about famous people, but maybe that's because I can skip the parts where they brag about cooking their kids' dinner. :roll

I don't watch Oprah. In a blue moon I'll watch Larry King. I watched "The Dog" recently. Man, I live a fairytale life compared to him. :lmao

A blue moon is how often I watch either of them. I just don't know why they are so popular.

Larry King epitomizes what a journalist should be. He listens more than he talks and when he talks he asks the right questions. I am not a big fan of Oprah's show (not my kind of entertainment) but I have lots of respect for her because of her philanthropy.

I always feel like Larry is just too easy on people, and I admire Oprah very much, I just don't like these celeb shows.

I like the Doctor Oz programs on Oprah.

True, I agree on both accounts.
