Bush Snr: "Son, you're making the same mistake in Iraq
that I made with your mother. I didn't pull out in time."

Too funny! :rofl

Kurtz is talking Christmas the signature line and I have barely digested my Thanksgiving turkey.
We had a little sleet here yesterday.
I guess it's true. Christmas is on its way.

Did you notice how much older most looked when wearing a wig? Nature is not kind to women.

Generally speaking nature is quite kind ot women.
It is our society that will accept all kinds of things in men while making fun of them in women.

Perhaps true, but maybe that's because women represent beauty in the world?

Is that innately true or is it learned?

Maybe a bit of both Matt. What are your thoughts?

When you look at the animal world the male is the more colorful one. When asked about themselves women tend to think they are not pretty enough. Men strut and think they are more handsome than they are.

I think that somewhere along the way guys decided to adorn us with beauty and judge themselves and us by our beauty.
It was probably the same guy who came up with high heels and waist cinchers.

I do everything that I can to maintain myself. I love clothes. I buy into the whole bit except for the part that you see played out on this board et al that comments on a woman's looks more than her accomplishments ~ and is often made by a 'not so young, not so handsome' dude.

Now how much farther from the topic can we take this thread? :lol

It is interesting that most male birds anyway, are the more colorful gender. I read somewhere along the line that was to attract the female.

So the question then becomes who attracts who? Does the male attract the female or is it vica versa?

(I think we can go way further off topic!) :rofl

Actually, I was talking about the lines that start at the nose and extend down the sides of the mouth. Men develop them when they are young. Hence, we don't think they make men look old. Women develop them in their forties, and they do age women. Putting a young man in a wig makes him look like an old woman.
