Still driving my 1998 Tahoe, but it still runs like a dream and I love it! It's a gas guzzler but it's been paid off for a long time now, so that's how I justify keeping it.

Four wheel drive, leather interior, auto everything! I won't trade it until it becomes undependable. That's the only way to get one's money out of a vehicle is to drive it until it dies. We bought this one new back in 1998 for around $38,000. Financed it for three years, so it was nice easy payments spread out over time. It's been payed off since 2001 and still going strong. What's more, I just love it! It's comfortable on a trip and to just drive around town, handles nice too. Love those heated leather seats in the winter time! :)

Gas is about $6 a gallon now here in Norway. The cost of living in general is higher here than in the US, but so is the standard of living so it balances out in the end.

Gas is $2.89 in SW AZ. I am getting a new vehicle in 2008, not sure what, yet. I use to spend 2 hours a day in the Sienna, then we've gone on alot of long distance trips with it and I am sick of being in it.

I drive a paid off 2004 Toyota Sienna. No problems.

Just think, the poor Europeans are paying a lot more...I was paying $6 a gal. over there in 2004I am going to drive the SAME thing Gore & Streisand drive and fly the same way they do!

Time to get the very LIBERAL BP Amoco and OCCIDENTAL OIL(Gore) into Iraq, draft thousands of LIBERALS from Colleges to go protect the refineries in IRAQ, and lets get some VERY Cheap Oil coming this way! Payback time!!!

I ride a horse a lot, so I don't do much driving, and my drive to Nashville this summer was the longest drive in 4 years for me! It won't get there it will probably go to $3.25 and then it will start back down!! If 70% of America would not buy a drop of fuel for 4 times in a month, prices would nose dive in a hurry!!

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The American Automobile Association of California said some drivers are now paying up to $5 a gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.

Crude oil prices hit an all-time high Wednesday, above $98 a barrel and analysts said with worldwide oil demand rising -- it is still not clear just how high prices will go.

In Salinas, AAA recorded an average of $3.39 per gallon. Santa Cruz is at an average of $3.37 per gallon.

KSBW checked and found gas in Gorda, south of Big Sur, is even higher. Drivers there are paying $5 for gas.

Over the past two weeks gas has gone up 15 cents in California alone, according to AAA.

Now, if you look on the map, Gorda is a very remote town on the coast...far from the maddening crowd.

So, what economy vehicle are YOU shopping for? My 2 Neons and multiple motorcycles get pretty damn good mpg and I'm sure happy to have them now. 1995 Neon 30 city/42 hwy. 2005 Neon 29 city/ 38 hwy.(not fully broken in yet). Bikes of varying description and years....avg. is 45-50 city/50-60 hwy. 2 mopeds (Guzzi and Honda) 150 mpg. Top speed 30mph...good for around town and will carry me and 3 large bags of groceries.

I will continue to drive my paid off 2005 Toyota Sienna. I don't care if gas gets up to $10 per gallon I will not drive something that is not safe for my family. I may cut down on trips out but that is about it.

Hubby will continue driving his 2005 Mini Cooper.
