I found this an interesting article on a way people are stopping the cell phone talkers around them.

The carriers also raise a public safety issue: jammers could be used by criminals to stop people from communicating in an emergency.

I was all for it . . .until I read that.

I found this an interesting article on a way people are stopping the cell phone talkers around them.

I think this paragraph speaks volumes about today's society.

“If anything characterizes the 21st century, it’s our inability to restrain ourselves for the benefit of other people,” said James Katz, director of the Center for Mobile Communication Studies at Rutgers University. “The cellphone talker thinks his rights go above that of people around him, and the jammer thinks his are the more important rights.”

It makes me think of the current debate over smokers versus non-smokers rights, and whose rights are the most important. But......that's a different topic, really. :para

Another way to stop people from talking on cell phones it to take it from them and stomp on it. :D

It's sad that most doctor and vet offices have to have signs up "turn off your cell phone". I live on a miltary post, cell phones while driving is banned, unless you have one of the ear phones. Why don't people know enough to turn off their phones, especially during funerals or weddings? What phone call is more important than that. Mine is usually left in the car.

Another way to stop people from talking on cell phones it to take it from them and stomp on it. :DAs usual the direct approach is also the easiest to be arrested for.
