Oregonions are going to vote on legalizing "less than 1 ounce of pot in Nov. It already has a law making possession of less than an ounce punishable by a ticket with a possible fine of up to $500. Now they are going to see if they can decriminalize that.
From the border of California to the border of Wahington, live the countries most liberal thinkers on pot. Or the most pot smokers. Take that George Bush!:rooster

Ringo lives in a conservative pocket in Oregon. I don't care what Oregon does since I don't live there, but I think pot laws are about as stupid as you can get. Half of the people there live on the I-5 corridor and the other half are rural red necks. Fortunatly, the liberals outnumber the conservatives. But not by a whole lot.

Why is a plant (created by God) that is completely natural and less dangerous than cigerrates and alcohol illegal in the first place??? And no I don't smoke pot, for that matter I don't smoke anything.P

Naw. Those are two hot button issues for conservatives in Oregon. Along with land use laws and passing a law making homosexuality and screwing the dead illegal in the state. A law they tried to pass, and was voted down by the largest majority in the history of the state. Screwing the dead was and remains illegal in Oregon.

Makes great compost for my fertilizer barrels...that's about all it's good for.....I've had to go out and cut down tons of it in the forest...literally tons!! I had a 10 yard dump truck full of the stuff one season...I can't tell you how much I've cut, catalogued, stored for court purposes and then burned in a big huge fire.......it made my heart.......................GLAD!!:pblade:police:p olice:police

Inhumane is someone getting butchered by terrorists or heinous criminoids! I just spent an entire summer watching one of my best friends die from lung and liver cancer. He died Aug. 28th. Suicide was never a thought by him, his wife or me. He was not a coward and neither were my Mom and Dad or my three uncles, nor several others that I have watched die, day by day!
There is Nothing inhumane about it! It's the way it is!

You can die with dignity w/o any one's help you take your life. My friend that just died, refused any pain medication. The day before he died, his wife manged to get some liquid morphine in his mouth as she told him it would moisten his mouth.
I asked him to grip my hand that day as well, and he had a pretty strong grip....so strong, that I started to laugh....and than he laughed. That was the last time we talked, he died the next morning.
