It quoted Reid as saying, "I had no idea it would raise so much money." and from that ONE quote, extrapolated an entire story about how he's horning in on Rush's glory.

That's not journalism. It's creative writing.

The whole stunt is stupid and is an act of denial by rush and his idiotic supporters. rush did indeed insult any troops who disagreed with the war in Iraq and called such troops phony soliders. rush later called a true hero with the Bronze Star from votevets.org a sucide bomber.

If anyone is a coward, it is rush. The heros at votevet.org have asked to come on to rush's show and to meet with rush personally about the insults that rush made about these soliders. Being a coward and chickenhawk, rush is hiding from these veterans.
