"What a great day when the President can upset China over the Dalai Lama, and Putin over Iran on the same day. Congratulations Sir!"

As I said before, it's Ok for Bush to piss of China by doing the right thing, but not Ok for Congress to piss off Turkey by doing the right thing.

Got it.

China is not an ally..........we have had a LONG standing relationship with Turkey!

There is therefore, a VAST difference in application!

Wabash we are eternally connected to China economically. There is no possible way to unravel our interests with the Chinese.

Yea and since Clinton-Gore sold America down the river by supplying Missile Guidance systems, we may become their bitch's too!!!

I think over time you will see it was the TRAITOROUS Pelosi, and her band of anklebiters that follow her around like a bitc* dog in heat, wants the Turkey invasion of Iraq! Why wasn't she worried about the so-called Turkish History problem when Clinton held office?? Get a rope!!

Well may I ask Ringo, who was the ambassador that technically opened China to the outside world? I don't think a political party was the mans motivation. It was Nixon's desire to be a great American that caused him to go and start relations with the giant dragon.
I can't see him or for that matter anyone else foreseeing the astounding rise in capitalistic policy in China. Nixon was looking for a new market for OUR goods not the other way around.
