So how many of you have served or are currently serving in the armed service?
What branch?
What was your job?
How long were you in or have you been in?
And if you have any cool war stories feel free to throw them in.

I was in the Air Force for 7 years. I was in the Security Force squadron and I did Combat arms which means I was a weapons instructor. That is where I met my hubby who does the same job he has been in for almost 14 years now.
I currently am emplyed as a civillian GS working in his squaron doing the same thing I did when I was active only here I work in the armory in charge of the guns.

I was in the US Army for 8 years. I was a medic. I have seen the elephant but prefer to keep those things to myself for the most part, but I got lots of other good stories from those years that I'll be sure to season this board with from time to time.

LOL, I was a 95Bravo 'n 00Foxtrot.

And I wore WAC brass before the MP 'n DS brass.
That was a long time ago.

I don't talk about that red dot, maybe to joke about it, but it really wasn't funny.
Some folks paid dearly for their involvement, I was lucky 'n skillful if I do say so myself.
And I was right.
