When you get off the blog of biased opinion, you find the information covered by the newspaper.

I think MANY are seeing the Evangelical movement as an anti-Christ hate mongering group and many of those people are represented quite well on forums. Not ONCE do the Evangelicals quote Christ...it's always a piece of the old testament they want to quote to justify hating, killing and controlling...recruiting for the their camp of hate.

Reid hit the nail on the head when he said Bush was the best campaigner for the Democrat party...because of Bush and his hate and anti-American economic policies, more and more people are turning to the democrat party. What is so sad, is that before the republican conservative was even aware of it, the neocons had captured their party, and taken the religious radical right and moved it away from anything recognizable of the once Grand Old Party.

Yup..good article and it speaks to a lot of people, Ringo.

Let me get this straight Ringo, you want Harry Reid censored for exercising his first amendment right. Tell me (by code) which law or Congressional ethics violation he committed and I'm right behind you. However, if Reid is referring to the Fred Phelps, Jerry Falwell, and Focus on the Family brand of Christianity that preaches hatred and discrimination, then I am completely behind him. Someone has to say it.

I so agree with Cookie Parker and patriotsblade. If either the Republicans or the Christians are going to survive as viable organizations, they are going to have to distance themselves from the right-wing neo-cons. Those people are simply evil.

Earth to the Jr Chimpmunk Rep for Liberalism in Norway, Falwell is not here no more, unless he haunts your ass from the grave!

Fred Phelps is a full blown Liberal, and Focus on the Family speaks only the TRUTH! I noticed you left out Radical Islam or the Ministry of Obamma, or Sharpton, any reason gutless?:mw:mw

I acknowledge that Falwell is no longer among us, but his stench lingers on.

Phelps is a liberal? Ringo, it's only 11 A.M. in South Dakota, have you already had that much to drink?

I think it is unfortunate that both men will not be judged the same. That being said I think that they both should be able to speak their peace.
