Can I just ask why on earth did this debate start at 4pm? Who the hell is the audience here - elementary school kids?

A large majority of people hold down those pesky 9-5 corporatey jobs so we were all at work - and last time I checked, employers have a wee bit of a problem with employees checking out and watching TV on company time.

Stay at home parents were most likely busy with the kids - either picking up, shuttling around, helping with homework, or what not. Middleschoolers around here aren't even home by 4pm - besides, they can't vote.

And come on - even the people who were home and watching television at that hour - do you honestly think any red blooded American television view would turn from Oprah to watch a bunch of pompous overblown white guys snip at one another and say absolutely nothing?????

Or maybe that was the GOP's intent - divert attention since they have no candidate of any value or electablilty????
