Patriot, you make some great posts!!

Texas legislature has been doin' that for years 'n even tho we see it all the time, it continues. What gets me is it's against the damn law, but as we all well know lawmakers are often ABOVE the law 'n especially in Texas.

The Texas legislature is a very interesting entity. This type of voting has been going on for years and members of the House are urged to turn off their voting key when they leave their desk.

My kids have been pages and one Republican rep. took them to the top of the capital and showed them how to spit from the very top to see if you could hit someone standing on the great seal of Texas. Luckily that particular Rep. ran for the Texas Senate and lost.
