Hi all! I am a *mostly* conservative mother of three.
I worry about the state of our country (and really of our world) for my kiddos. They are my life.
Our family is a middle class, hard working family. I think people should work if they can. If they can't, I truly believe that as human beings, we SHOULD help one another.
I am a Christian and do not seperate my religious beliefs from the rest of my life, so please don't ask me to.
I am a teacher as in a public school system and work primarily with children at risk. I freakin' love what I do!!! BUT...I think NCLB is a load of crap and I have yet to hear a single politician come up with a plan that will really work to imporve the schools and the education in America.
I think some people SHOULD NOT have kids!
I am very tolerant of other viewpoints (as long as they are not stupid). ;)
Teachers should be paid more. (you had to know I was going to say that)
I am a graduate student, and often am too brain dead from work and school to have an intelligent debate, but I do love to read different point of views and I'll jump in from time to time. I look forward to meeting each of you.
