I can't recommend this book by Christine Northrup, M.D. enough.

The book looks at how negative energies and baggage manifest themselves as health problems, and how to fix them. It has been my holy book for the past five months, and I've become much healthier in mind and body. Link (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780553382099&itm=1)

Mostly dietary. I now eat an 80% raw diet and have completely cut out caffeine, white flour and rice, hydrogenated oils, sugar (including artificial sweeteners), salt, and dairy. I've payed much closer attention to the connection between my mind and body, and how what I put into my body affects me.

That looks like a great read. I assume you have this book. Can you tell me how much of it deals with menopause? I recently had a hysterectomy and am in surgical menopause.

It has about sixty pages relating to menopause, including surgical. I has sections on types of menopause, hormone replacement, symptoms (the book has small ssections on about ten symptoms and how to cope with them). It has adrenal and hormone primers, self care during menopause, creating health during menopause, and using menopause as a new beginning.

Okay great!! You have successfully sold them another copy. I have been avoiding HRT so far and would like to continue. I have been having many complications due to the menopause. I am excited to read what they have to say about it.

Wow! I am thinking about some changes, but I am not ready to go that far. [She says as she wipes the peanut butter cookie crumbs off of her face.]

Are you feeding your family the same?
