Yes, I know I'm not supposed to hate anyone.

And no, it isn't because I'm jealous of her.

It is because she's fucked up beyond all recognition. Because she's a drug addict and an alcoholic and even though mine and countless other families in this country have been torn apart by these behaviors, she continues to be idolized, paid, and treated like a celebrity.

She's no better than any white trash piece of shit druggie who fucks up their own lives and the lives of the people who really care about them.

From what I've read of celebrity memoirs from the past, Lindsey Lohan's behavior is nothing new. I think the media has made celebrity escapades much more public than they ever were (and they were pretty well-covered throughout Hollywood history) and the people who have to know the latest has made this whole sordid industry extremely lucrative.

I think that she is an addict without the check of people in her life to look out for her and tell her when she has gone over the edge. Couple that with some serious cash and it's a recipe for disaster.

I actually almost respected her decision to go to Promises after the first DUI. Then you see her out on the beach hanging out with her enabling hangers on.

Does anyone actually think those were just plain Red Bulls?
