I am on the policy council for head start. It is just like PTO. I am serving my 3ed year. I am also on the Community Action Board. I am serving my first year on there. I share this responcibility with THIS (http://www.myspace.com/proftimmy) guy. He is the president of the policy council. He has tons of contact with all of the head start children. He makes many decisions for their future at head start. He also suffers from multiple personality disorder. I have never felt comfortable being around him and now I have had this confirmed for myself. HERE (http://www.wbns10tv.com/?sec=&story=sites/10tv/content/pool/200707/1140995279.html) is the story I just found on our local news site.

You are in a tough spot. In my line of work I spot crooks and phonies fast. The picture of him gives me pause. No facts used just a picture.

Always be suspicious of men who like to hang around children, unless he is obviously doing it to be around the women that accumulate on those jobs.
Every male Boy Scout leader or Elementary School teacher is on my "watch list".

Wow, that covers a lot of ground, needlessly. I know elementary children and Cub Scout leaders who would not be the slightest threat to any child. In fact, that is the vast majority.
My kids didn't go anywhere alone with an male not their close relative. That is a Scout rule. It works.

Yeah, that's what I think.
I messed up what I was saying. The Scout rule is no Scout is alone with only an adult unless that adult is his parent. That goes for male or female.
My rule was that my kids only went places alone with their Dad, Grandfather, or Uncles.
It didn't matter to me if the male in question was a Scout leader, teacher, or minister. Too many go into those fields for bad reasons.
The vast majority of men are trying to be good Dads and good community leaders. It's the few that are problems.
I do know men who are elementary school teachers who are wonderful and would never harm a child. We actually need more men in elementary ed, IMO.
