I have two dictionarys and I looked in both. No clue what the plural of church was. I finally decided, after consulting DD, distinguished daughter, to spell it churches. But it didn't look right. What do you do when Webster fails you?:rofl2

Yup. Plural of church buildings would be churches. There is no plural of 'church' as in the people though. That's only ever referred to in the singular. (Just to muddy it up a bit.)
