I'm still on my hiatus but I wanted to say a couple of things. First, I'm buying a house, here in DC and today I will be house hunting :hyper

I'm scared shitless. I tend to run away from big commitments :para

I wanted the people who actually care :snicker to know that I really just had to take time away from here. Its summer, my kids are insane and with all the drama on this board in the last month... I needed to take a step back. I feel really good about it and I hope everyone who cares :snicker understands that running these little gems is a 24/7 job at times, especially when you have your hands in 6 of them :para

I love being here, I love tinkering with it and I love posting with you all, but I cannot stand the way all the personal stuff gets twisted into something REAL when its all just online. If that makes sense.

I have known Q for over 2 years. She and I, along with Semantics, Love and some others, started Hippymom together. I know Q's intelligence, her wit, her charm and her "no bullshit" policy. She was a natural to step into admin here and she has really jumped in and is trying to sort through the last year (almost) of TPA and how it has evolved into the TPA we see now. I've given her little to go on, just like all of you :para

Anyway, help Q by just chilling out for a while. She's a very fair person and she loves politics. She's got to get her footing in an environment where there have already been major changes and upheaval.

I AM still around, I check in several times a day, and I would absolutely love to hear from anyone who doesn't want to complain to me :lol

Thanks, everyone. My family thanks you, too :hug :hug :hug

We've been living here, but renting, for going on 4 years. The market is way down and its probably our only chance to get something HERE, or we'll have to move completely out of the area.
